East Bay Regional Park District trails planner Jim Townsend says optimism is building that an agreement can be reached and a trail between the Albany Bulb and Tom Bates sports complex can be completed by early 2015. The trail relies a permanent easement from Golden Gate Fields owner Magna Corporation, who are evaluating the latest proposal.
